Keeping Fit in Your 50s DVD
An Acacia production.
It is like working out in my living room with friends. They get out of step and laugh and have fun while burning calories and fat - just like the rest of us!
Easy to keep pace with the DVD. Good Educational aspect too!
This DVD set is really for beginners only. There is too much explanation of each set before it begins, it takes too long to go from set to set, and although I appreciated the low-impact, it's just too boring for someone who's already in shape, but has just turned 50. The patter between the two women is silly and distracting also.
You should let people know that they will need to purchase or have additional support equipment such as a yoga mat, weights, and stretch bands!
I'm in my 50's and bought this in my 40's. The set is an overall solid workout. The strength tape and flexibility DVDs are challenging but won't make you sweat. The flexibility DVD has a very brief intro to yoga, but I wish they'd done a whole-length DVD on this because it's so short it's really not even worth putting in the DVD unless you've never seen any DVD whatsoever on yoga. I gave away
Thought it slow, tedious and more for 60-70year olds. Very basic. Should be advertisedfor beginners.
I use the flexibility and pilates after I walk 2 or 3 miles. I helps me cool down, stretches muscles, and helps relieve back pain.Cyndy Joseph is boring and does not add value to the DVDs. Robyn is very knowledgeable and gives easy to follow instructions most of the time.
The workout seems easy and very gentle, yet there are definite results from it. Love to have a workout that doesn't feel like a rigorous Back-breaker.
By using the CD every day, I feel and look better than I did when I was in my fifties. Instructions are clear, concise and the workouts are easy to follow. I am telling all my friends about it!
I use the disc alternating each day Sometimes twice a dayOn certain exercises I modify the kicks because of my kneeI know i am doing it properly because no pain and I perspire like Niagra Falls but feel great. I especially like the fact taht the instructors are not pencil thin but real women
I am a walker who sometimes needs an alternative for a cardio workout, as well as the addition of strength training and stretching. Robin continually gives us alternatives for increasing our challenge, as well as for exercising safely. I also like the motivational talks. I'm not looking for mindless chatter, so for me, the video is perfect. I enjoy both Robin and Cindy.
Sorry, boring pretty much describes it.
Great workout on my time!
Well made. Can be used at any time at home.shows 2 ways of doing exercise.
Enjoy the detailed directions for each exercise. Both ladies are very pleasant. Looking forward to the exercises. When I learn all the positions...would like to advance to the exercises instead of watching the demo over again.
I can do anything when listening to great music. Your choice of 'Muzak' disappoints me. Wish I could just watch while listening to my own music. I feel like I am going to an exercise class in a senior center. I like the choice of movements and exercises but the music is very disappointing.
I like this set of workouts. I am over 50 and have been looking for the right home workout for me. This is great! I've tried 'dance' workout videos from Target and what a waste of for me. Can't keep up, no motivation for me. This set is easy to keep up with and realistic for my body and simple. It helps me feel good! And I can feel that I've worked out but it doesn't kill me. A great fi
Ms. Joseph was a poor choice for these videos. She has no sense of rhythm, and it is painful watching her flail around trying to keep up with Robin. The routine is boring and too easy to attain or maintain fitness.
I bought the series so I could use them when I want.Enjoy them all...
Apparently I'm in better shape than I thought because I didn't feel like I worked out at all. I am still working outside of the home and when I exercise I want it to be worth my time. There is a lot of wasted time on this DVD. Maybe the producers could separate the exercises from the talking -- put them in different segments or something. Had to listen to 45 minutes of talk for what seemed like
Received on time good condition. Easy to follow
After reading some of the comments I was about to pass this video over. I'm glad I decided to go ahead and buy it. For those of us in our 50s who haven't worked out in awhile it's perfect.I like the way each phase is divided into even more phases so you can gradually buid up to do the full round. Great video for us 'older' people who want to begin taking care of ourselves before moving onto ha
We needed these combination of exercised while water aerobics and aqua zumba classes were out at local college for month between sessions were closed for month. Easy for senior citizens to do and loved explanations on everything.2 citizen 79 and 82 Worth the money
Proper positioning and alignment while exercising is very helpful in this DVD package and is balanced in the time for exercising each muscle group. It is invaluable to me as I get older and experience aches and pains now. This collection allows an easy approach, making exercise more enjoyable, and thereby making it possible to stick with the program and see the results of feeling and looking bet
Love the variety of the workouts moving through the three DVDs. They leave me feeling strengthened and energized rather than strained or worn out.
I love the Keeping Fit in Your 50s DVD. As a 52 year young woman, who's severed with illness for many years, I'm not able to exercise like the younger generation does. This DVD has made it possible for me to exercise regularly without straining or overexerting myself. The instruction is easy to follow and the instructor keeps you motivated, as she stresses to go at your own pace and to breath pr
